MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517044590 A) filed by Asahi Kasei Kabushiki Kaisha, Tokyo, on May 8, for 'hydrogenated conjugated diene polymer and hydrogenated conjugated diene polymer manufacturing method.'

Inventor(s) include Sugimoto Tadahiro; Hayata Daisuke; Matsuoka Daigo; Yasumoto Atsushi; and Konomoto Tsuneaki.

The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A hydrogenated conjugated diene polymer that satisfies the following conditions (i) (iii).???Condition (i): The hydrogenated conjugated diene polymer is a random polymer that includes a conjugated diene monomer unit and may include an aromatic vinyl monomer unit wherein aromatic vinyl monomer blocks are less than 10 mass% of the hydrogenated conjugated diene polymer.???Condition (ii): The weight average molecular weight is 10??104 to 200??104.???Condition (iii): The molecular weight distribution of an ozonolysis product is 2.1 to 6.0."
