MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005714 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Technology, Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, on Jan. 29, 2024, for 'hydrogen charging and discharging system for solid state hydrogen storage.'

Inventor(s) include Anand Kumar Gandham; Deepesh Patidar; and Vijay Kumar Pal.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provide a solid-state hydrogen storage system for heating and cooling the storage system to discharge (desorption) and charge the hydrogen with resistance heating elements and Peltier modules/Coolants, respectively."
