MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411012982 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'hydro-power based utensil cleaning assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Jagjit Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A hydro-power based utensil cleaning assistive device comprises of a cylindrical hollow body 1 held by a user and having a first and second portion, a camera 4 for detecting dimensions of the utensil, an electronic nozzle 5 to open for dispensing a suitable amount of the cleaning solution on the utensil, a impeller 10, an electronic valve 11 to open for dispensing the water on the impeller 10 that results in rotational motion of the impeller 10 and further results in rotational motion of the disc 7 and members due to the arrangement 8 such that the utensil is cleaned and rinsed due to multiple bristles 12, a flow sensor for detecting flow rate of the water, and a flow sensor configured with the electronic valve 11 for detecting flow rate of the water."
