Inventor(s) include Norgaard, Christian; Caldwell, Niall; Hansen, Andrew; Dumnov, Daniil; and Stein, Uwe Bernhard Pascal.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A hydraulic machine assembly (8), comprises: a first hydraulic machine (10) comprising a first set of machine modules (56) arranged around a first machine shaft (12), each machine module (56) of the first set comprising a group of fluidly-coupled piston assemblies (18) in driving engagement with a first set of cams (16) carried by the first machine shaft (12); and a second hydraulic machine (10) comprising a second set of machine modules (56) arranged around a second machine shaft (12), each machine module (56) of the second set comprising a group of fluidly-coupled piston assemblies (18) in driving engagement with a second set of cams (16) carried by the second machine shaft (12) Rotation of the second machine shaft (12) is coupled to rotation of the first machine shaft (12). The first set of cams (16) are angularly offset relative to the second set of cams (16), and respective angular orientations of the cams (16) of the first set of cams (16) are interleaved with respective angular orientations of the cams (16) of the second set of cams (16). The phase of each piston assembly (18) is unique, so that all of the piston assemblies (18) of the machine assembly (8) are out-of-phase, the respective phases of the piston assemblies (18) of the machine assembly (8) being evenly spaced."
The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 19, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/051322.
