MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511113486 A) filed by K. R. Mangalam University, Gurugram, Haryana, on Nov. 18, 2025, for 'hydraulic expandable smart hanger.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a hydraulically expandable smart hanger constructed from a biodegradable PLA-bagasse composite and designed to support garments of varying widths.
