MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517059966 A) filed by Robert Bosch Gmbh, Stuttgart, Germany, on June 23, for 'hydraulic control unit and vehicle.'

Inventor(s) include Suetomi, Toshihiro; Kotaka, Mikiya; and Nakamura, Kyohei.

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This hydraulic control unit comprises a pump that moves brake fluid in an internal flow path that communicates a wheel cylinder and a master cylinder, and a motor which is a drive source for the pump. The motor includes an output shaft and an eccentric portion provided on the output shaft, and the pump includes a cylinder in which a compression chamber is formed, a plunger having one end abutting on the eccentric portion and the other end being inserted into the compression chamber so as to be able to reciprocate, and a spring that presses the plunger toward the eccentric portion. In the plunger is formed an inflow path that guides the brake fluid flowing toward the pump into the compression chamber, the inflow path is provided with an inflow-side check valve that regulates the flow of brake fluid flowing out from the compression chamber, and the spring is provided outside the inflow path and the compression chamber."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 11, 2023, under International application No.PCT/IB2023/062483.
