MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421075655 A) filed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Nashik, Maharashtra, on Oct. 7, 2024, for 'hydraulic control panel for replenishment of aircraft hydraulic systems.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The hydraulic control panel is a device for replenishment of hydraulic systems of an aircraft and for the functional test of hydraulic system units in the absence of ground hydraulic trolley. The device, which is meant for aviation industry, consists of components such as Hand Pump, Level Indicator, Wheel, Tank, Pressure Gauge, Filter, Non Return Valves, Hoses, Safety Relief Valve, Pressure Regulators, End Couplings and Filler Breather. The device, as compared to conventional systems, reduces the effort required to operate air brake and eases the charging of hydraulic system of aircraft with working media of aircraft grade oil. The device employs a finer filter element in the order of 5 micron to achieve purity of oil as per specific industry standard before letting it flow into the aircraft hydraulic system for air brake operation and other control surfaces operation."
