The framework includes a portable executable file analysis module that examines structural characteristics of executable files including entropy values, import tables, and section properties to identify malicious patterns, an image-based classification module that converts binary executable files into grayscale images and applies convolutional neural networks to classify them as benign or malicious, a behavioral monitoring module that tracks real-time system activities including file modifications, network communications, and API calls during execution to detect ransomware behaviors, a threat detection engine that aggregates results from all modules to determine overall threat assessment, and an automated mitigation module that executes containment actions including file quarantine, network isolation, and system rollback upon ransomware detection."
