MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517044797 A) filed by Numat Technologies Inc, Skokie, U.S.A., on May 8, for 'hybrid adsorbent granules and filters made with the granules.'
Inventor(s) include Wang Timothy C.; Morris William; Fuller Patrick E.; and Stoffel Kevin J.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A composition comprising adsorbent hybrid granules wherein said granules comprise a first adsorbent material a second adsorbent material and a binder mixed with either the first adsorbent material or the second adsorbent material or both and wherein the first adsorbent material and the second adsorbent material are each external to the surface of the other adsorbent material. The adsorbent composition is suitable for use in purifying an air stream and in particular is suitable for use in filters for respirators."
The patent application was internationally filed on Oct. 26, 2023, under International application No.PCT/US2023/077891.
