MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517045562 A) filed by Softbank Group Corp., Tokyo, on May 12, for 'humanoid robot control system and program.'
Inventor(s) include Son Masayoshi.
The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This humanoid robot control system comprises: a humanoid robot comprising an upper body portion having at least one arm portion a leg portion to be placed on a floor and a link portion that pivotally links the upper body portion to the leg portion; an information acquisition unit that acquires information indicating at least the distance and angle between the arm portion and an object the humanoid robot is going to perform work on; and a control unit that controls the pivotal movement of the link portion on the basis of the information."
