MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421031496 A) filed by Liger Mobility Private Limited, Maharashtra, on April 19, 2024, for 'human guidance for a self balancing vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a system and method for human guidance for a self-balancing vehicle. In the present disclosure, the system comprises a sensor module for detecting variables indicative of the vehicle's state, a state identification module for classifying the state, a control module for regulating the balancing system, and an indication module for providing human-perceptible cues/alert such as haptic, visual, auditory, and display-based indicators. In some embodiment the method involves intermittently checking the vehicle's state, providing user guidance cues, and predicting upcoming states to enhance user safety and operational efficiency; this allows the user to adjust the riding behaviour to suit the current state. The present invention ensures safe operation of self-balancing vehicles through real-time state monitoring."
