MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617007610 A) filed by Nippon Steel Corporation, Tokyo, on Jan. 27, for 'hot-rolled steel sheet and component.'
Inventor(s) include Hattori Tatsuhiro; Yasutomi Takashi; and Sakurada Eisaku.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The hot-rolled steel sheet according to the present invention has a desired chemical composition, and in the internal region, the average aspect ratio of prior-austenite grains is 4.00-6.00, the area ratio of the martensite is 90% or more, and the value obtained by dividing the average aspect ratio of prior-austenite grains in the surface layer region by the average aspect ratio of prior-austenite grains in the internal region is less than 0.950."
The patent application was internationally filed on Sept. 26, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/034488.
