MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517050489 A) filed by Saint-Gobain Centre De Recherches Et D'Etudes Europeen, Courbevoie, France, on May 26, for 'hot repair method.'
Inventor(s) include Champion, Thibault; Villermaux, Franceline Marguerite; and His, Christian.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is a method for hot repairing a region to be repaired inside an industrial plant other than a glass furnace, the region to be repaired being at a temperature above 250 C, said method comprising the following steps: a) installing an inner formwork in a service position, so as to prepare a mould around the region to be repaired; and b) filling the mould with a repair product, wherein at least a portion of the inner formwork is made of a ceramic matrix composite."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 30, 2023, under International application No.PCT/EP2023/083663.
