MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010778 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'home appliance stabilizing system.'

Inventor(s) include Preeti Bansal; Dr. Sukhdeep Kaur; Rajan; Ayush Singh; and Ayush Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A home appliance stabilizing system, comprises of multiple bodies 1 constructed with a first and second disc 2, 3 connected with each other via multiple springs 4, a circular plate 5 configured with the first disc of bodes for accommodating corner of home appliance to be stabilized, a laser sensor for detecting dimensions of corners, a pair of motorized sliders for translating a pair of blocks 6 for gripping the corners for securing the appliance, a telescopically operated rod 7 initially positioned within the body configured with a suction cup 8 for adhering the bodies 1 on the ground surface and preventing any undesired motion of the bodies 1, multiple omnidirectional wheels 9 for moving the body and changing location of appliance, and the wheels 9 to maneuver the bodies 1."
