MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441078323 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Oct. 15, 2024, for 'hole digging device for ground surface.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A hole digging device for ground surface, comprising an elongated telescopically operated frame 1 having a first end 2 attached with a handle 3 gripped by a user, second end 4 configured with a circular disc 5 to be positioned in contact with ground surface, microphone 6 for enabling a user to give voice commands for digging a hole in the ground surface along with defining diameter and depth of the hole required, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 7 for capturing and processing multiple images of the user for detecting the user's height, blades 8 to extend/retract and actuates a BLDC motor coupled for rotating the disc 5 in synchronization with actuation of said frame 1 to gradually extend for digging the hole and a speaker 9 for notifying the user regarding successful digging of the hole."
