MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517037899 A) filed by Curexo, Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on April 20, for 'holder for medical tools.'
Inventor(s) include Cho, Gyu Il; Lim, Heung Soon; and Kim, Bong Oh.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a holder for medical tools on which an impactor and a reamer, etc., which are used in surgery, are mounted, and more specifically, to a holder for medical tools that has a compact and simple structure and can be used interchangeably while also satisfying operational stability and durability. The holder for medical tools according to the present invention is characterized by comprising: a medical tool provided with a tool shaft; a holder body having a tool mounting hole formed therein for insertion of the medical tool; and a tool support means for supporting the medical tool inserted into the holder body, wherein the tool support means comprises a tool support guide member that guides movement of the tool shaft while supporting the tool shaft."
