MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202631051432 A) filed by National Institute Of Technology, Patna, Bihar, on April 22, for 'higher order sinusoidal oscillator circuit with independent oscillation condition and frequency control.'

Inventor(s) include Kumar, Sunil; and Raj, Ajishek.

The application for the patent was published on May 1, under issue no. 18/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a sinusoidal oscillator circuit (200) including n current feedback operational amplifiers (100), n resistors, n capacitors where n stands for an integer greater than or equal to 3. Each capacitor connects between a current output terminal z of a respective current feedback operational amplifier (100) and a ground terminal, in parallel with one or more parasitic capacitances, and each resistor connects between the current input terminal x of a respective current feedback operational amplifier (100) and a voltage output terminal w of the nth current feedback operational amplifier (100). The voltage output terminal w of each current feedback operational amplifier (100) connects to a current input terminal x of the respective current feedback operational amplifier. Unlike conventional oscillator circuits the present disclosure achieves independent control of both parameters through distinct resistors of the n resistors, while parasitic effects merge into respective external passive components."
