MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202647024512 A) filed by Hitachi Energy Ltd., Zurich, on March 2, for 'high voltage device and high voltage system.'

Inventor(s) include Salinas, Ener; Girlanda, Orlando; Luvisotto, Michele; Russberg, Gunnar; Mukherjee, Pritam; and Pradhan, Manoj Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "According to an embodiment, the high voltage device (100) comprises a sensor element (1) for measuring a physical quantity in the high voltage device and a receiver coil (2). The receiver coil is configured to be wirelessly supplied with electric power via electromagnetic induction from outside of the high voltage device. The receiver coil and the sensor element are coupled such that electric power induced in the receiver coil is at least partially transferred to the sensor element in order to operate the sensor element. The receiver coil is flat."

The patent application was internationally filed on Sept. 18, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/076069.
