MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517036977 A) filed by Rockwool A/S, Hedehusene, Denmark, on April 16, for 'high-speed rotor.'

Inventor(s) include Sorensen, Jens Jorren; Diederichsen, Christian; and Pedersen, Martin.

The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A rotor for a fiberising apparatus comprising a rotor housing; a drive end and a non-drive end bearing assembly, wherein each bearing assembly comprises a plurality of ball bearings, each seated in a respective bearing seat; a substantially horizontal shaft rotatably mounted between the drive end bearing assembly and the non-drive end bearing assembly; a drive end damper ring connected to the drive end bearing assembly and a non-drive end damper ring connected to the non-drive end bearing assembly, wherein each damper ring comprises one or more resilient dampers arranged in an annular ring, wherein the or each resilient damper is connected at a first end to the bearing seat and connected at a second end to the inner wall of the rotor housing; characterised in that the stiffness of the drive end damper ring is greater than the stiffness of the non-drive end damper ring."

The patent application was internationally filed on Oct. 19, 2023, under International application No.PCT/EP2023/079136.
