Inventor(s) include Vontorcik, Jr. Joseph J; Percival, Daniel; Jung, Ungyeong; and Lan, Qiang.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The instant disclosure relates to thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) compositions containing the TPU reaction product of an a polyisocyante comprising a linear aliphatic diisocyanate having from 3 to 12 carbon atoms; a polyol selected from a polycaprolactone and a polyester; and a linear or branched chain extender having main backbone of from 4 to 16 carbon atoms and hydroxyl groups separated by at least two carbon atoms. The TPU of the instant disclosure has from 15 to 50 percent hard segment and an average vertical resiliency measured according to ASTM D2632 of at least 50 percent. The TPU of the instant disclosure exhibit improved vertical resiliency and powder melt time and have a particular use in the printing of three-dimensional (3D) articles."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 07, 2023, under International application No.PCT/US2023/078885.
