MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202417098295 A) filed by Suzhou Fengtai Medical Technology Co. Ltd., Jiangsu, China, on Dec. 12, 2024, for 'high-precision microscopic scanner.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A high-precision microscopic scanner, comprising a whole unit base (1), wherein the whole unit base (1) is provided with a Y-axis crossed roller sliding assembly (2) by means of a Z-axis and Y-axis shared bottom plate (15), and one side of the whole unit base (1) is provided with a Y-axis sliding driving assembly (3); the Y-axis crossed roller sliding assembly (2) is provided with an X-axis crossed roller sliding assembly (4) and an X-axis sliding driving assembly (5); the X-axis crossed roller sliding assembly (4) is provided with a slide holder assembly (6) and a global lower light source assembly (8); a lifting focusing assembly (7) is provided in the middle of the whole unit base (1); the Z-axis and Y-axis shared bottom plate (15) is provided with a Z-axis sliding final-assembly assembly (9); the Z-axis sliding final-assembly assembly (9) is provided with an oil immersion objective assembly (10); a fluorescence assembly (13) is provided above the X-axis crossed roller sliding assembly (4) by means of a portal frame (16), with a lower end of the fluorescence assembly (13) being in butt-joint with the oil immersion objective assembly (10) and an upper end of the fluorescence assembly (13) being in butt-joint with a scanning camera (14); and the portal frame (16) is provided with a global camera (11) and an upper light source assembly (12). By means of optimizing the design of X, Y and Z-axis moving structures of the microscopic scanner, the control precision during scanning is improved."
