MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311085450 A) filed by Translational Health Science And Technology Institute, Faridabad, Haryana, on Dec. 14, 2023, for 'high-performance liquid chromatography (hplc) based analytical method for analysing drugs and system therefor.'

The method comprises preparing stock solutions and working solutions of the drugs, integrating high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) device with a processing framework for determining overdosing or underdosing, performing a simultaneous analysis of the drugs and their respective analytes in a single run of the HPLC device wherein the analytes include the drugs themselves and their metabolites, utilizing the analytes as reference standards and markers to estimate the drug concentrations within plasma or serum samples; providing a turnaround time of less than two hours for the entire analysis, and ensuring consistent and reliable results by the integrated HPLC for dose estimation and analysis; and a system therefor."
