MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517065510 A) filed by Borealis Ag, Vienna, on July 9, for 'heterophasic polypropylene composition.'
Inventor(s) include Wang, Jingbo; Gahleitner, Markus; Friedrich, Karlheinz; and Leskinen, Pauli.
The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a heterophasic polypropylene composition having excellent stiffness and impact properties at medium to high flowability. In particular, the present invention relates to a heterophasic polypropylene composition comprising a propylene butene copolymer and a propylene ethylene elastomer. The heterophasic polypropylene composition is prepared using a Ziegler-Natta catalyst. Furthermore, the present invention also relates to a preparation process for the heterophasic polypropylene composition, and to articles comprising the heterophasic polypropylene composition as well as to use of the heterophasic polypropylene composition for the manufacture of articles."
