MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517068427 A) filed by Basf Se, Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany, on July 17, for 'heteroaryl compounds for the control of invertebrate pests.'

Inventor(s) include Pedroni, Julia; Pohlman, Matthias; and Schissler, Christoph.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to compounds of formula (I) wherein the variables have the meanings as defined in the specification, to compositions comprising them, to active compound combinations comprising them, and to their use for protecting growing plants and animals from attack or infestation by invertebrate pests, furthermore, to seed comprising such compounds."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 11, 2023, under International application No.PCT/EP2023/085120.
