According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention provides a novel herbal wax composition designed for effective body hair removal while nourishing and soothing the skin. Unlike conventional waxes that contain synthetic resins or harsh chemicals, this formulation uses plant-derived ingredients with antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and moisturizing properties, making it suitable for sensitive skin and frequent use. Sea buckthorn oil (Hippophae rhamnoides) is a highly valued natural oil known for its exceptional nutritional and therapeutic properties. It is widely used in skincare, hair care, nutraceuticals, and traditional medicine due to its rich bioactive profile. One of the major advantages of sea buckthorn oil is its unique fatty acid composition, especially omega-7 (palmitoleic acid), which is rarely found in plant oils. Omega-7 supports skin regeneration, maintains moisture balance, and strengthens the skin barrier. The presence of omega-3, omega-6, and omega-9 fatty acids further enhances anti-inflammatory action and promotes tissue repair."
