The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Sea buckthorn oil is highly beneficial for promoting healthy nail growth due to its rich nutritional profile. It is an excellent source of omega-7 fatty acids (palmitoleic acid), which nourish the nail bed and cuticles, supporting keratin synthesis-the essential protein for nail structure. This helps strengthen nails, making them less prone to brittleness, splitting, and breakage. The oil is also packed with vitamins A, C, and E, which provide antioxidant protection against oxidative stress that can weaken nails. Vitamin C promotes collagen production in the nail matrix, enhancing nail thickness and growth rate, while vitamin E improves nail hydration and prevents dryness. Additionally, sea buckthorn oil has anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties, soothing the cuticles and surrounding skin, preventing infections, and maintaining nail flexibility. Regular application results in stronger, healthier, and faster-growing nails, making it a natural and effective solution for individuals struggling with weak, slow-growing, or damaged nails."
