The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Head massage using a herbal oil containing feverfew extract offers effective, natural relief from migraine pain by addressing both physical and neurological triggers. Feverfew extract is well known for its anti-inflammatory properties and its ability to inhibit the release of migraine-related mediators such as prostaglandins and serotonin. When applied topically through massage, it helps reduce inflammation around blood vessels and nerves associated with migraine pain. Head massage itself improves blood circulation to the scalp, neck, and temples, relieving muscle tension that often contributes to migraine attacks. The gentle massage also stimulates relaxation of the nervous system, reducing stress and anxiety-common migraine triggers. Additionally, herbal oil massage promotes better absorption of active compounds through the scalp, enhancing therapeutic effectiveness. Regular use can help reduce the intensity, duration, and frequency of migraine episodes while improving sleep quality and overall head comfort, making it a supportive complementary therapy for migraine management."
