According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Sea buckthorn oil is highly valued for its powerful role in supporting collagen boosting and overall skin health. It is exceptionally rich in vitamin C, a key nutrient required for collagen synthesis, helping stimulate the natural production of collagen fibers in the skin. Regular use of sea buckthorn oil supports improved skin firmness, elasticity, and reduced appearance of fine lines. The oil also contains omega-3, omega-6, omega-7, and omega-9 fatty acids, which strengthen the skin barrier and protect collagen from premature breakdown caused by inflammation and environmental stress. Its high antioxidant content, including flavonoids and carotenoids, helps neutralize free radicals that damage collagen and accelerate skin aging. Sea buckthorn oil promotes skin regeneration and repair, aiding in faster healing and improved skin texture. By deeply nourishing and hydrating the skin, it enhances collagen stability, making the skin appear plumper, smoother, and more youthful."
