MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024607 A) filed by Indian Council Of Agricultural Research, New Delhi, on March 27, 2024, for 'herbal growth promoter for poultry.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention generally relates to the field of poultry feed additives. Particularly, the present invention relates to a novel synergistic polyherbal formulation for growth promotion and increased feed efficiency. More particularly it provides a synergistic polyherbal growth promoter (HGP) composition comprising plant part of Cinnamomum zeylanicum (Cinnamon), Illicium verum (Star Anise), Myristica fragrans (Nutmeg), Cucurbita pepo (pumpkin), Phyllanthus emblica Linn (Amla), Allium sativum (Garlic), Murraya koenigii (Curry leaf). The present invention also provides a process for preparation of the said formulation/composition."
