MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311079874 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Nov. 24, 2023, for 'herbal eye mask preparation device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An herbal eye mask preparation device comprises of a housing 1 installed with a chamber 2 stored with cucumber slices, a touch enabled screen 3 for enabling a user to give input commands regarding number of a herbal eye masks to be prepared, a motorized iris lid for dispensing decoded amount of cucumber slices in a container 4, a motorized blade for grating the cucumber slices, an L-shaped telescopically operated pusher 6 for compressing the grated cucumber against base portion of the container 4 in order to obtain cucumber extract, plurality of iris pores for dispensing cucumber extract in a receptacle 7, a pair of nozzles to dispense almond oil and an essential oil in receptacle 7, a motorized stirrer for mixing he solution, and a telescopically operated gripper 9 to dip cotton pad in solution."
