MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517058518 A) filed by Glaxosmithkline Biologicals Sa, Rixensart, Belgium, on June 18, for 'hepatitis b compositions.'
Inventor(s) include Bayat, Babak; Mousavi, Kambiz; and Vassilev, Ventzislav.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A composition for treating chronic hepatitis B infection comprising mRNA encoding a hepatitis B virus antigen, wherein the mRNA is encapsulated in a lipid nanoparticle (LNP)."
