MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617005790 A) filed by Sanofi Pasteur Inc., Swiftwater, U.S.A., on Jan. 20, for 'helper lipids for nucleic acid delivery.'

Inventor(s) include Deng, Hongfeng; Derosa, Frank; Karve, Shrirang; and Kaushal, Neha.

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided herein are a class of helper lipid compounds of use in the in vivo delivery of therapeutic agents, such as nucleic acids."
