MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012951 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'helical spring manufacturing device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A helical spring manufacturing device, comprising a housing 1, a touch interactive display panel 11 accessed by a user to input command regrading requirement of a helical spring along with diameter, an extendable robotic withdraw one of rod from chamber 2, a corrosion sensor detects presence of corrosion over rod, two motorized rollers 4 remove detected corrosion from rod, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 5 determines dimensions of rod, and accordingly gripper 3 inserts rod in a motorized chuck 7 to grip, two motorized sliding units regulates diameter of member 6 and followed by rotation of member 6 wrapping rod over member 6, simultaneously a telescopic bar 8 which is installed between member 6 and housing 1 extends to regulate height of member 6 to aid in appropriate wrapping of rod over member 6, thereby manufacturing helical spring in accordance with user-specified diameter."
