MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020730 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 19, 2024, for 'heavy vehicle support device.'
Inventor(s) include Manjit Singh; Hardeep Singh; Saumil Aggarwal; and Prabhdeep Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A heavy vehicle support device comprising two elongated telescopically operated frames 1 having a first 2 and second end 3 and positioned underneath chassis of a heavy vehicle, a telescopically operated rod 4 installed with an omnidirectional wheel 5 and second end 3 configured with a C-shaped motorized expandable clamp 6 to grip chassis, a computing unit receive input commands for securing frame 1 with chassis, an AI imaging unit 7 detects exact location of chassis, a holographic projection unit 8 guides user in accurately aligning frames 1, an ultrasonic sensor detects height of chassis, an electromagnet for joining rods 4 to provide stability to frames 1, a camera detects direction in which vehicle is turning accordingly frame 1 extends for positioning wheel 5 on ground surface to provide an additional support to vehicle, a speed sensor detects speed of vehicle, and a BLDC motor rotate wheel 5."
