MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411073716 A) filed by Kohler India Corporation Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, on Sept. 30, 2024, for 'heavy duty plastic hinge.'
Inventor(s) include Jayesh Bodhkey; Anshuman Gupta; Parul Gupta; and Nilesh Patil.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Described herein is a hinge for a shower room enclosure. The embodiments of the present invention disclose a hinge which is configured to support a configuration of glass-glass door or a wall-glass door. The hinge is designed to be a two-part structure, which has rib design on the outward and inward surface, which supports a glass door efficiently. The hinge of the present invention is made of plastic and comprises design modifications which offer strength and equal load bearing."
