MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511104762 A) filed by Daimler Truck Ag, Leinfelden-Echterdin, Germany, on Oct. 30, 2025, for 'heating ventilation and air-conditioning system for a vehicle, and method of operating the same.'

Inventor(s) include Babu Rao Ponangi; Rakshita Hanamanth Kolakar; Sunil Meduri; and Pravin Menariya.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system (100) includes a thermoelectric assembly (102) having a plurality of thermoelectric modules (103), each having a hot side (103a) and a cold side (103b). The thermoelectric assembly (102) includes a plurality of airflow channels (105) including hot side channels (105a) and cold side channels (105b). The hot and cold side channels (105a, 105b) are in thermal communication with the hot and cold sides (103a, 103b) of the thermoelectric modules (103), such that air flowing through the hot air channels (105a) get heated up and the air flowing through the cold air channels (105b) get cooled. A mixer (104) is configured to receive the heated air from the hot side channels (105a) and the cooled air from the cold side channels (105b) and supply a control amount, using a control means (110) actuated by a controller (108) operatively coupled to the thermoelectric assembly (102), of the heated air and the cooled air to a passenger cabin (114) of the vehicle."
