MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411007000 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'heating load capacity evaluation device for installation of central air conditioning systems.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Manjit Singh; Gurkirat Singh; and Anuraag Tsewang Namgail.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A heating load capacity evaluation device for installation of central air conditioning systems, comprises of a installed with motorized omnidirectional wheels 2 for maneuvering the platform 1 on the ground surface, a touch enabled screen 3 to give input commands for calculating heating load of the floor, a camera 4 for detecting area of the floor and number and direction of walls on the floor an ultrasonic sensor for detecting width of the walls, an internet module integrated with the microcontroller for accessing internet to fetch heat emitted by the user-defined number of number of individuals and user-defined number and type of electronic appliances to be operated, and a GPS (Global Positioning System) module integrated within the microcontroller for fetching exact location of the platform 1."
