MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105622 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 31, 2025, for 'heat sink manufacturing device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. S. V. H Nagendra.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A heat sink manufacturing device, comprising, a platform 101 configured with multiple motorized wheels 102 for movement, a touch interactive display panel 103 for user input on heat sink specifications and fin gaps, a pair of L-shaped pneumatic rods 104 with motorized clippers 106, secured to rectangular plates 105, that grip and position heat sink fins, a motorized slider 107 adjusts clippers 106 to maintain specified gap, a robotic gripper 109 repeatedly engages fins from a chamber 108 with clippers 106, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 110 detects fin placement, a TIG welding torch 112 is accessed by a pair of robotic arms 113 performs welding at junction of the fins and base panel, a grinding blade 114 mounted on a telescopic L-shaped pole 115 smooths the weld, a motorized ball-and-socket joint 116 provides flexible arm movement, monitored by an angle sensor for precise positioning."
