MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517091382 A) filed by Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki Kaisha, Aichi, Japan, on Sept. 24, for 'heat management system.'

Inventor(s) include Suzuki, Tomoaki.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is a heat management system capable of both effectively using heat generated from a drive device and increasing the efficiency of warming a power storage device. This heat management system (1) comprises a power storage device (173) which exchanges heat with a first passage (170b), a drive device (133) which exchanges heat with a second passage (130b), a radiator (122) which is provided to a third passage (130a), a chiller (160) which is provided to a fourth passage (170a), and a switching device (180, 190). During warming of the power storage device (173), the switching device disconnects the third passage from other passages, forms a circuit in which a thermal medium circulates through the first passage and the second passage, and forms a circuit in which a thermal medium circulates through the fourth passage."
