MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411004094 A) filed by Hero Motocorp Limited, New Delhi, on Jan. 20, 2024, for 'headlamp of a vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a covering member (119) adapted to cover at least a bottom portion (306) of a headlamp (116) of a vehicle (100). The vehicle includes a body frame (122), a mounting structure (211), the headlamp (116), and the covering member (119). The mounting structure (211) is mounted to the body frame (122) in a front portion (108) of the vehicle (100). The headlamp (116) is mounted to the mounting structure (211). The headlamp (116) includes a plurality of markings (304) at least on the bottom portion of the front side (308) thereof. The covering member (119) extends along a width direction (310) of the vehicle (100) to cover at least the bottom portion (306) of the headlamp (116) provided with the plurality of markings (304). The plurality of markings (304) is vehicle regulatory markings that is at least one of engravings, stickers, printing, and stamping."
