MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511104630 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Oct. 30, 2025, for 'hardware-integrated holography inspection and correction unit (hihicu).'

Inventor(s) include Khalid Hafiz Mir.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention discloses a Hardware-Integrated Holography Inspection and Correction Unit (HIHICU) system (100) for high-resolution, real-time defect detection and correction. The system comprises a holographic imaging unit (102) for capturing coherent interference patterns, a hardware processing module (104) for reconstructing three-dimensional holographic models, and a correction unit (106) equipped with precision actuators or laser trimmers for immediate correction. A visualization interface (108) provides real-time 3D feedback for operator monitoring. The system (100) achieves micron-level accuracy, non-destructive inspection, and synchronized correction through closed-loop feedback, enabling improved efficiency and quality in semiconductor, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing industries."
