In the folded position, the foldable armrest (104) is retracted within a housing (106) of the handrest assembly (100). In the extended position, the foldable armrest (104) is substantially parallel to the base armrest (102) to increase surface area for support of the arm of the user. The handrest assembly (100) comprises an actuation assembly (300) configured to move the foldable armrest (104) between the folded position and the extended position."
