Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Handle Assembly And Endoscope Treatment Tool' Filed by Olympus Medical Systems Corp.

MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202544008242 A) filed by Olympus Medical Systems Corp., Tokyo, on Jan. 31, for 'handle assembly and endoscope treatment tool.'

Inventor(s) include Yamada Kotaro; Taki Kikuo; Hagiwara Daiki; and Kondo Kentaro.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A handle assembly includes: a handle body; a transmission member configured to transmit a high-frequency current; a connector being conductive and extending in a direction intersecting a longitudinal axis of the transmission member; and an elastic body being conductive, wherein the elastic body contacts the transmission member in a state in which the elastic body is compressed, and the transmission member is slidable relative to the connector in a state in which the transmission member is pressed against the connector."
