MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018873 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'handheld face massaging device.'

Inventor(s) include Rishi Sikka.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a handheld face massaging device, comprising a telescopically operated frame 1 having first and second portion, wherein a handle 2 is attached with first portion for providing grip to the user, an angle sensor mapped on frame 1 for detecting angle of the portion, multiple motorized hinge joints 3 integrated between the handle 2 and first portion for moving the frame 1, a holographic projection unit 4 installed on frame 1 for projecting holographic images on user's face, a touch sensor mapped on body 6 for detecting placement of body 6 on the user's face and multiple telescopic pins 5 arranged on a shaft mapped inside the body 6 for extending/retracting towards user's face followed by actuation of multiple motorized iris lids 8 mapped on body 6 to allow massaging of the user's face through the extended pins 5."
