MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006918 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 1, 2024, for 'handheld cow dung preparation assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Shivani Vaid; and Mitali Rahi.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A handheld cow dung preparation assistive device, comprising an elongated extendable body 1 configured with a cylindrical hollow member 5 placed on cow dung, a touch enabled screen 6 accessed by a user to give input commands regarding dimensions and shape of cow dung cake, a primary expandable pulley arrangement 8 increases diameter of member 5, multiple pneumatic pins 9 extend/retract for forming user-defined shape, a speaker 10 notifies user to place member 5 over dung, a plate 11 deployed by hinge to cover member 5 and user now places member 5 at an area where dung is to be dried, an extendable flap 12 rotated by a motorized slider for removing cow dung from member 5, a sensing module detects moisture of cow dung and temperature of surroundings and accordingly a time duration is estimated, and further estimated time duration is shown on a computing unit of user."
