MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022835 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 23, 2024, for 'handheld concrete surface levelling device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A handheld concrete surface levelling device, comprising an elongated body 1 is accessed by a user for acquiring a grip on body 1, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 10 determine dimensions of concrete surface, a microphone 4 for receiving voice command of user to performed an operation, an ultrasonic sensor monitor levelling of surface, a moisture sensor monitors moisture level of a concrete mixture layered on surface, multiple electronically controlled nozzles 5 dispenses water to moisten mixture as needed, a laser emitter 7 projects a beam of laser light on surface to guide user to provide thumping on surface for leveling surface to a required height, and plurality of blades 8 by means of a rotatable unit 9 for hitting blades 8 against surface to form distorted texture of surface for another layering of mixture."
