MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019209 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 4, for 'handheld brick transferring assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A handheld brick transferring assistive device, comprising an elongated telescopically operated frame 101 having a first portion 102 attached with a handle 104 and a second portion 103 installed with a circular ring 105 integrated with a pair of L-shaped rods 106, a horizontal plate 107 attached with rods 106 positioned near bricks, a microphone 108 receives user voice commands for transferring bricks to individual positioned at height, an imaging unit 109 mounted on frame 101 detect location of bricks, a pair of motorized circular sliders 110 configured between rods 106 and ring 105 translate rods 106 to position bricks between a pair of vertical extendable units 111 installed on plate 107, a pair of motorized sliding units 113 translate units 111 for gripping bricks, further frame 101 extend to position brick towards individual."
