MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531018717 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 3, for 'handbag carrying assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A handbag carrying assistive device, comprising a plate 101 positioned over body of a handbag in proximity to mouth portion of the handbag, plurality of suction units 102 create a negative pressure to affix the plate 101 with the body, plurality of straps 103 accessed by the user to grip the plate 101 in view of carrying the handbag, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 104 determines dimensions of the user's hand, a motorized sliding unit 105 arrange the straps 103 around the user's hand and a motorized roller 106 rotate on axis in view of wrapping the straps 103 and gripping the user to prevent detachment of the user's hand from the plate 101."
