MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531017989 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 28, for 'hand-held sealant application device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Niranjan Nayak.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A hand-held sealant application device, comprising of a cylindrical body 101 with an integrated handle 102 for user grip, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 103 installed on the body 101 capturing and processing workpiece images, a touch interactive panel mapped on the body 101 accessed to input details regarding a portion of the workpiece, a holographic projection unit 105 for projecting a holographic image on the workpiece, a motorized spiral blade 201 arranged inside a body 101 to transfer sealant through a hollow tube 106 configured in continuation with the body 101, touch sensors confirm pole placement, activating a speaker 107 mounted on the body 101 to give voice commands, an extendable robotic arm 108 installed over the body 101 shapes the sealant and a motorized iris lid 110 configured at junction of the body 101 and pole for allowing transfer of the sealant."
