MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011911 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 12, for 'hand held hard plastic surface maintenance assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Rosysmita Bikram Singh.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A hand held hard plastic surface maintenance assistive device, comprising an elongated rod 101, an attached handle 102 gripped by user, a cuboidal body 103 positioned near plastic surface, an imaging unit 104 installed over body 103 determines dimensions of damaged portion, a blade 106 with a primary robotic link 105 installed over body 103 scrapping the damaged portion, a container 201 with vacuum unit 107 within body 103 collecting/extracting waste, a chamber 202 having filler solution within body 103 connected with an electronic nozzle 108 over the body 103 dispensing filler solution, a motorized grinding roller 110 with secondary link 109 installed over body 103 smoothening filled surface, a multi-sectioned receptacle 203 with paints arranged within body 103 providing colors to be sprayed, an tertiary robotic link 111 installed over body 103 and an electronic sprayer 112 linked with receptacle 203 via a conduit 113 spraying paint over portion."
